Fix-it With Fred

I've been taking my car to Fred and his crew for years, and I'll never go anywhere else. He is one of the kindest, most patient people I've met. The team is honest and goes out of their way to make sure you understand everything, and there's never pressure to get unnecessary work done. They also have free loaner cars!

They were Awesome not only do they break everything down they make sure you are comfortable with the process and answer all questions before they even start on car…… Ash and Jen were great and even meeting the owner Fred was Awesome he talked to me he did not make you feel like you were bothering him. A down to earth guy who has a great team of people I didn’t get the name of the Technican that worked on my car but he was great as well. If you want a more hands on touch come here they will not disappoint. This will be the only place my car goes now. Ms Tai

This place is amazing! The staff is very courteous. They are soooo helpful. Women have a disadvantage when it comes to car maintenance and repairs. Most of us don't have a clue when it comes to repairing our cars. Fix it w/Fred saved me thousands. I will never go anywhere else. The honesty and integrity of this place is out of this world!

*EDIT* Thank you, Fred, for your reply. Unfortunately, I have to rewrite my original review. Things turned from bad to worse after bringing my car back a second time. For anyone considering bringing their car here, PLEASE read this first. My 2013 Hyundai Sonata 2.4 has 112k miles on it, with a new engine at 97k and original transmission. On March 2, 2026, I brought it to Fix-it With Fred for engine/transmission mounts, front lower control arms, and a steering coupler repair, costing over $3,000. Afterward, my car still had mild drivetrain clunking and back-and-forth movement while on and off the gas, so I came back on March 30th for a transmission fluid service and inspection. I simply wanted to see if it would make the car feel smoother. The fluid change and inspection was another $500. On April 6th, I noticed greasy residue around the heat shield, but assumed it was leftover fluid from the service and didn't think much about it (I will attach a photo). Over the next few weeks, I began hearing a faint “thud” under the floorboards that rapidly worsened. By April 23rd, there was a pulsation underneath, so I took it to All Makes and Models Auto Repair, my family’s trusted shop for

I had issues where I bought my truck. It was as a sensor with a check engine light on. After I got it back from the hack shop. I took it here explained everything to Ash and Fred. I asked to clear code to see if it was fixed it was not. So I brought the truck back to them and they did a full inspection on the truck and found a ton more stuff wrong with it. ( do not do business with royal family motors). I am very happy to say from start to finish my experience with Ash and Fred has been refreshing. What they did do was earned more business because I took another car to them and as of right now it runs and drives a hell of lot better and is safe for a new driver. I do think a little pricey. But my belief is you get what you pay for if I have to pay for a piece of mind then it’s worth it in the end.
